Lisa Barton has been the CEO of Alliant Energy since 2024. In addition, she is Chief Executive Officer of the two utility subsidiaries, Interstate Power and Light and Wisconsin Power and Light. Prior to Alliant, she worked at American Electric Power for nearly 17 years holding various leadership roles, most recently EVP & COO – AEP Transmissions, EVP – Utilities, and EVP & Chief Operating Officer. She joined Alliant Energy in 2023 as President & Chief Operating Officer.
